I have been glued to the news the past day regarding the Orlando tragedy. My heart is saddened at the violence and hatred toward the LGBT community, there and around the world. Of all the comments made by many people about this horrific event, one sentence that keeps running non-stop in my mind: "love is love, is love, is love..."
Then I remember that it is said, "Good will not be outdone by evil." I hope not! Let us continue to pray for the victims, the dead and injured, their families and loved ones, all the responders and healthcare workers. Let us pray too, that those who want to do harm to others be touched by God's grace to do good instead. Amen.

All of us in Central Florida's LGBT community greatly appreciate and cherish the kind words and prayers from good-hearted people across the country and around the globe. Rest assured, your hugs and tears and encouragement from Wisconsin are felt these many miles away, and it lifts our spirits to see such an outpouring of support from every corner of the world. Thank you, and we love you ...
ReplyDeleteBecause love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love.
Greg,
ReplyDeleteKnow that you are loved, cherished and even though the initial event was some days ago, its effects last and last. Through any huge event we all have the option that the event will make us better people or bitter people! That is a choice. Choose love, not hate.
